I’ve moved 30 times in the last 50 years.

Yep. You read that right.

As a military “brat”, I lived in seven states and one foreign country before I turned 18. After undergrad (in two different states), my career in the corporate world took me (literally) coast-to-coast. I’ve upsized, downsized, and same-sized. And do you know what I’ve learned?

I’ve learned the keys to success are to start early and have a plan. Humor helps, too.

But I also know firsthand that downsizing and/or moving can be overwhelming and exhausting — both physically and emotionally! That's where it helps to hire a pro.

I came to this industry from the corporate world of human resources, process consulting, and project management. What I share with my fellow Senior & Specialty Move Managers®, however, is a profound commitment to connecting with older adults and a desire to perform meaningful work.
